Innovation and sustainability

Innovation is an integral part of our core business. That is why we have a decisive product development team, where engineers, designers, technicians and service engineers work closely together bringing expertise from their own disciplines. Attention is not only constantly focused on improving existing products, but also on innovation and the development of new products. In these activities the team concentrates on matters like quality, ease of maintenance, production efficiency and – increasingly – sustainability.

The results of our continuous investment in innovation include:

  • More efficient production methods;
  • Shorter production and delivery lead-times;
  • Easier maintenance and longer service intervals;
  • Pump sets with greater pumping capacity, lower noise production, lower fuel consumption and better emission standards;
  • Improvement of the price/performance ratio;
  • Development of plug-and-play pump sets to customer specifications.


Corporate Social Responsibility

Eekels pursues an active policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, for the last few years Eekels has supported the LOKA Foundation, an organization whose mission includes providing quality education for poor but talented children in India.

Fish friendly pumps

One of the elements of the Dutch water and nature policy is the restoration of fish migration. At the regional level, this task is increasingly being performed by water boards, e.g. by making surface water pumping stations fish friendly. With our fish friendly Hidrostal pumps we help water boards achieve their sustainable goals in this area.
