In July 2011, credit management organisation Graydon presented Eekels Pumps with the ‘Financially sound!’ award. This means that in the judgment of Graydon, Eekels is one of the top financially sound companies in the sector.

Financially sound business partner

Erik Leenart, Managing Director of Eekels, is pleased with the award: ‘In the turbulent economic conditions of today it is of course important to know whether your business partners are financially sound. This award shows that this is the case for Eekels. That means that our customers and suppliers can do business with us with every confidence. Of course we knew that already, but it is nice to have a renowned assessor now confirm it.’

Strict criteria

There are strict criteria attached to an award. For example, a company must have a positive credit rating and the chance of non-payment must be absolutely minimal. Graydon bases its final judgment on a mix of factors, such as sales figures, annual figures and payment behaviour. This information is extracted from Graydon’s extensive database, which is updated every day. This ensures that the presentation of an award is made on the basis of the most complete and recent data.
