Eekels 24/7 rapid response service moves into action to assist British partner

On a Friday afternoon Eekels received an urgent enquiry for assistance from one of its British partners in pumps, apparently a vital underground sewage main had collapsed in Southern England close to the city of Southampton. Within hours two large trucks complete with trailers were loaded at our Barendrecht depot with all the necessary equipment and pumps. Early next morning the trucks with pumping equipment had arrived on site where work started immediately on constructing an emergency pumping station with a capacity of 1700 l/s (6120 m3/h).

Eekels is expanding its rental options with dry self-priming high-pressure pump sets from Pioneer

Barendrecht, 14 January 2009 - Eekels Pompen recently extended the pumps it has on offer for rental with a wide range of high-pressure diesel-engine pump sets from the American manufacturer Pioneer. The pumps are dry self-priming, so the main pump is automatically and rapidly filled with water when started up. A virtually unique aspect is that these pump sets also combine high compression with high capacity. Eekels is offering a wide standard range for hire from stock. Customised solutions are possible for sales, with a delivery lead time of 3 to 4 months. read more >

Barendrecht, 5 April 2009 - In response to customers' requirements and the ever more stringent environmental requirements Eekels Pompen has since 1990 been developing and regularly modernizing a unique mobile diesel-driven pump set - the Betsy. Thanks to its innovative features, the Betsy has been successfully sold and deployed worldwide for a diverse range of applications. Eekels now delivers the Betsy with an innovative and low emission Caterpillar and Hatz diesel engines that meets the strictest emissions standards (Tier 4A, US EPA Nonroad and the European Nonroad, stage IIIB).  For even lower exhaust emissions an additional engine exhaust protection can be added in the form of a particle filter.
